1st problem encountered when doing last minute assignment

i have finally understood how it feels to really rush your assignment at the very last minute...
Guess what happen in the evening??
I have typed a 2000 plus words for my 3000 words essay and I got so sleepy that i used another doc to save over my essay! Oh my gosh...

When its

last min work + such stupid error = Hell


I tried downloading the "undelete" program and software that is supposed to recover your documents.. It failed me! Though i recover the doc, but i cannot open it... after trying for close to an hour, i gave up....

I got to retype and think about what i have typed during the day! ...

Now, finally I am back to my 2000 plus words benchmark again.....
But thankfully, i have saved my first part of the essay in my thumdrive! so its not too bad.. i have a headstart of 1000 words....

I was always very cautious, I ensured i save every now and then.. BUt i did not save every now an then in different areas...
i can truely understand that as an adult, such silly error can still be made..

So now, I made it a point to save now and then onto my com, my thumbdrive and my email...
i know it seems to be super kiasu. But after such scary experience, I rather be safe than sorry...

phew...
back to my essay again...
